I was blessed to come and practice with you several weeks ago on February 18th at 10am. I drove in from Pennsylvania and landed in your class with minutes to spare. I love to visit studios when I travel. The practice was such a blessing to me, you're teaching is exquisite. I love the harmonium and chanting to join our voices in. The practice was just beautiful. What a lovely community for yogis you have created.

Corinna Ricard-Farzan is an amazing yoga instructor. I am continually inspired and humbled by her.
I am writing this in the parking lot before I leave so I do not forget the utmost gratitude I have for taking Corinna's class for the first time. Her class was so timely this morning and I knew as soon as she started her excerpt of Dorga (spelling?!) my energy / my spirit was meant to be in this moment in this class.Taking a class at Tadasana in Balance is more than just pushing the physical being, it pushes you mentally and emotionally and spiritually into a more beautiful light than when you entered. I don't need to get into the gritty details of my darkness, but I thank Corinna for bringing me back to the light. Namaste and I thank God for all of you at Tadasana in Balance.
I just wanted to thank you both for a week that exceeded all my expectations. I was looking for exactly this type of experience- something that would be fulfilling and nourish the soul. I have been going through a bit of a rough stressful time the past few months with lots of change (going through a divorce) and this week meant more to me than you know. It was exactly what I needed to move forward and mark a new beginning in my life. I had breakthroughs physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It will be a week I will never forget. I can't thank you enough.
I had a most beautiful experience at Maya Tulum, and because of the generosity, skill, talent, warmth, and friendship of the two of you! What stands out the most is the sincere invitation to be ourselves. We were encouraged to be introspective and ask ourselves to pay attention to how yoga and the breath relates to emotion, and how that all relates to the physical body. I learned a lot about these relationships. In addition, we were encouraged to support each other's journey through the week, allowing recognition of each other at times during yoga, allowing space and "down time" when others needed it, and having a venue for meeting and learning about each other. The balance of personal time, mutual support, and social time came together so nicely.
Leigha and Corinna are not just knowledgeable yoga teachers, offering access to the practice for a variety of levels; they are yoga guides. During our week in Tulum, they cultivated an experience for our group. I have long loved Leigha's intuitive sequencing and poetic cues, which empower me throughout her classes. And I was pleased to get to know Corinna's deeply intentional, clear and creative teaching style while on retreat with them. Together, they designed daily classes that felt safe, reassuring, and welcoming to each practitioner. I embarked on this adventure craving a badly-needed tropical vacation, but I received so much more. Spending the week with Leigha's and Corinna's beautiful, open spirits, and with everyone who was drawn to the retreat, turned out to be an amazing opportunity to live yoga completely for a week. We ate delicious, clean food, explored Mayan culture and sites, and were actively engaged in the breath-taking Tulum naturescape. The week seemed to take each of us on a private journey while fostering a sense of loving community among kindred souls, even if we were once strangers. I returned home with a stronger understanding of myself and of yoga philosophy, and feeling even more inspired in my life. Be Love offered shifts that were transformational. And it was a ton of tropical vacation, blissed out fun, too!"
Thank you for hosting such a wonderful retreat! I was happy to be a part of it and meet such wonderful people. I really don’t have a bad thing to say about it. The yoga was great and the place was like paradise! It was so wonderful to walk the grounds barefoot and feel the sand between my toes! It reminded me of growing up in Long Island when I practically lived on the beach. I absolutely love yoga and it was great to be able to practice it everyday without the outside world interfering. As I said, I enjoyed meeting the warm, beautiful people that also took part in the retreat. We all got to know each other pretty quickly as we were on the same wave length, if you know what I mean. Thanks again to you both and I hope to come again next year!
